Which spelling is used in French?

The traditional spelling found on cheques and invoices: « vingt et un », « quatre-vingts », « deux cents », with hyphens only between tens and units.

Can I use it for an invoice total?

Yes. Copy the words after « Arrêtée la présente facture à la somme de : » or its Arabic equivalent, and keep the figure next to it.

Do I need an account?

No. It is free and unlimited, with no account.

Is my amount sent anywhere?

For most languages the words are made in your browser. For about 35 less common ones (such as Catalan, Bulgarian or Icelandic), only the whole number is sent to Fildok's server to spell it, and nothing is stored.

Why use it

Correct grammar for French, English and the common currencies: « un million de dinars », « une livre sterling », « ديناران », « пять рублей ».
