Question 1

Is it actually free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The free tier gives you a full document, spreadsheet, and slide editor with 100–250MB of storage, no credit card required. We show ads in the dashboard to keep it free — never inside your documents. The $3.99/mo Plus tier removes ads and gives you more storage.

Question 2

Do I need an account to convert a file?

Accepted Answer

You can try an editor or tool once and download the result without signing up. Create a free account to keep files or continue with more jobs.

Question 3

What file formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

Documents: DOCX, PDF, ODT, TXT. Spreadsheets: XLSX, CSV, ODS, PDF. Slides: PPTX, PDF, ODP. More formats are on the roadmap.

Question 4

What happens if I hit my storage limit?

Accepted Answer

Between 100–250MB you'll see a non-blocking reminder to upgrade. Past 250MB, new saves and uploads are blocked, but your existing files stay fully accessible and editable.

Question 5

Will this work on my old laptop?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's the point. Editing and rendering happen server-side, so your browser only needs to display the result. It works even on low-spec devices and unreliable connections.

Question 6

Are my files safe?

Accepted Answer

Uploads are scanned for malware before they're stored. We don't sell or mine your document contents. If you have questions, reach out via email.
